Travelling Far to Ecuador

A start of a long and torturing flight from KL to Ecuador via Amsterdam and Panama City...... a total back-splitting 35 hour one way flight with KLM........
Hardly able to get to sleep on a plane....... Look at Hoe's awful smile...... What a pittiful look!
After a first 13 hours long flight, we reached Amsterdam in the morning.
And it's snowing every where. Ya! Of course it is Chrismas Day here........
Since the transit time is long enough, Hoe and I decided to stroll out of the airport........ to pay a visit to the town of Amsterdam Central ( by the way, this is my first visit to Europe ).Beautiful European scenery along the way to the town........
Amsterdam Central Station.........
We looked for a place where we can sit down for a drink......
Irish coffee is just nice for this short stay winter time........
A cosy decorated Dutch Pub..........
Continuing our next journey to Panama City...... Oh! My God. Another 11hour flight.....
We ordered low fat meals on the flight, but each time we were served 15 minutes ahead of the other normal meal booking passengers........ It made us felt uneasy as we were always eating first.......
We transited using Copa Air from Panama City to Quito...... Finally, we touched down at Quito near midnight........ And the temperature was only 8 degree C.
Reached the hotel there....... and it's still Chrismas Day...... Weird to have two X'mas Day for me this time around.......
I am so exhausted indeed....... I collapsed and snored all the way....... Woke up next morning, and had our Continental breakfast at the hotel..........
Some complimentary gifts from the hotelier.......... Cute!
Went for a half day tour of the city of Quito before transferring to Lago Agrio in the afternoon........
El Panecillo statue situated on top of the hill............
Quito is a highland city which is located at 2800 meters above sea level......... and the climate here is very soothing......... The Ecuadorian capital city's mix of colonial and modern architecture creates a fascinating built environment. Beautiful La Basilica........
Using internal flight to Amazonia Lago Agrio........
Reached there safely..........
We are finally here in Lago Agrio........ Cheers!
Lago Agrio is a very small town located near to the Columbian border, which has no tourist attractions, tourist only passes by here to other locations of interest....... The hotel for the night here.........
Next morning, started our journey at the local tour operator office.........by getting all the necessary document in-hand............... This is our transport to the Aquarico River site..........Bus??? What a huge vehicle for just the three of us.......
Journey to our fishing site...........
A lot of oil digging companies along the way there.............
Reaching there after a 4 hour drive........ and there is the boat waiting for us............. The local's hut near the river site.......
Unloading the luggage from the bus............
The locals having a field day looking at us..........
Loading up the boat............
Here we come - Amazonia Rain Forest Jungle Fishing Expedition............
Locals living along the Aquarico River.......... Stopped for a quick lunch.........
Picking up our local guide near the estuary of Cuyabeno River..........Our local indigenous guide - Jose's house........
Jose's pet.........
Entering to Cuyabeno River..........
Going up stream for another 2 hours........Finally, we made it to our first camp site somewhere along the Cuyabeno River........
Our lodging for the next three day fishing around these area..........Our cook preparing our first dinner here.........Dinner served.........
Started with potato soup.........
Fries, chicken and brocolli........ Not bad taste, too hungry to check the taste........Fishing started the next morning........ to be continued..........
