Peacock Bass Fever

Last weekend Show and I went up to Air Kuning for Peacock Bassing.... What a shock went we reached there in the morning.... It was a totally different environment, unlike the spot in normal condition,... look at the road to the launching point... It is destroyed by the heavy rain fall that night before.....
We were forced to launch our boat a bit further away from our usual point,... and start casting along our way out to the open area..... The water was not clear at the lounching point due to the muddy water flowing in heavily towards the pond, but after 2km away from it,....at the main pond the water is still in it's clear condition.... here comes our catches when casting along the shallow and the weeded area......
Heavy rain created many short cuts from pond to pond,.... This is a road in a normal water condition and now we are paddling across it just like that...... It sure saved us a lot of energy and time, but what about the fishing condition here...... BAD!!! WORST!!
Worst come to the worst,... take a rest and continue at a different spot later.......
Yes! The fish is in the open area, you just have to find it......
Tried a different pond the next morning before we headed back at noon.....
Well, Show surely has luck to land his first Jelawat (Leptobarbus hoevenii).... Cheers!
