Chiew-Lan Dam also named as Ratchaprapha lake, stiuated in Khao Sok National Park, located in the South of Thailand.... This was my short trip together with my Thai friend from Bangkok to have a little survey of a few rivers within the park.....
Khao Sok National Park is famous for it's many tall limestone mountain formations, with it's vertical slopes, caves, and beautiful emerald colour waters through out the lush thick rain forest.... It was probably only one of its kind in whole of Thailand.... The amazingly beautiful karsts and lake may make it easier now to approach many parts of the forest by boat.....
Oooooh! Heavy rain...... Sighhhh......
Heavy down pour.....
This is what happens after a few days of rain fall inside the deepest part of the dam.....
Food served at the shelter......
The food here tasted really good and appetisingly Thai....
What an experience it was for me....
Rain and rain,.... the rain fall all day long even when making my way out from there....
Another trouble occured during the way out in the middle of a heavy down pour....
Yet another bad incident happened on the road,.... which made us wasted much time waiting for another pick up at the half way back to town....
That night by the riverside restaurant which we talked about our trip experiences under the night sky....

Even in this unpleasantly tough condition, my friend Mr.Nakarin was able to score a big size Toman....
Dinner at the Floating shelter with the ranger incharged......
Again the next morning, the weather was not on our side..... looks like rain will come anytime.
This are some catches before the down pour again...... but only caught some young Tomans...
Those small Barbs caught around the floating shelter...... is an easy catch before it gets spook.
Our 3 Days 2 Nights shelter.....

This great looking Thailand Blue Masheer was caught by the local fisherman who shelter in this floating hut.....
Well, this was my last photo on this trip,.... My boat flipped over during a casting session drifting along one of the river inside while a heavy rain fell.... The accident caused me to lose my Canon G10 and along with all my photos,.... plus 5 boxes of my lures too...... arrrhhh!! After the incident I managed to recover the boat and it's engine which my boatman wasn't able to find it under the murky fast flowing waters after a long time...... We drifted down the river and rowed for a long time until someone came looking for us.... my sandals was washed away and recovered down stream at the river the next day...What an experience it was for me....
