KL near-by fishing ground

Two of my friends from Singapore came up to KL for a weekend fishing trip......So, I decided to bring them to Batang Berjuntai for a try...... They reached KL in the early morning, after the breakfast we headed for the pond.... It has been a year plus since my last trip to this fishing ground.......The condition looks nice, Toman fish is every where but nothing turn up that morning.....After lunch we tried our luck at a different pond........We found not less then 4 baby Toman schooling in that evening, but still no result for the fishing game......Well, Tomans near-by KL really good at playing hard to get.......Hah hah!Sunday, we tried our luck again going to a better fishing pond according to my friend Jeff, where he often caught Tomans...... Today we have Jeff, Hoe, Paul, Frank, Amos and me in the game....
Hoe and Frank caught themselves some small Tomans........Today's champion, 4 kgs mama Toman. This fishing ground seem to favour Jeff only.....SHIT!We tried & tried. Still no fish............ Aaaaaaaaargh....We even tried at this Selangor River...... Trying........ Still no catch .....KL near-by = NO DECENT FISH? ( This does not apply to Jeff though )

Air Kuning

Inconjunction of my Japanese guest come for Peacock Bass fishing, I've just bought an aluminium 12 footer boat....... Water level at the fishing site still on the high side eventhough the rain has stop for a week.....Water is not so clear......A very good start for the day......Ha Ha Ha!My Japanese guest Mr. Murasugi caught himself the first Peacock Bass.....
But, the bite does not continue after that........Sigh.......... In the afternoon we moved to a different pond, and here is our result by landbase casting....
Our fishing site......After an hour of trying finally landed with a reward.....This was the biggest catch in that afternoon......Next morning, we went into the inner area to search for a better fishing site.......A lot of low-lying part of the road were flooded....The first fish from this morning was this baby Toman......Ha! Wow!.....This is a good size of Tilapia fish.40 cm, weight 1kg+......We had it steam with Hot Broad Bean Paste..... Not bad!At the final day, Mr. Murasugi try his luck with top water lure and manage to catch himself some small Peacock Bass.....The early morning before dawn breaks is always the best timing for this Peacock Bass fishing,........... and it will never let you down. After some trying, a big one came on his lure and it gave him much pleasure to the exciting fight.... Today, just this Toman was intrested at my lure.......
