A Day Trip for Peacock Bassing

Mr.Tamai and his son came for a day trip to Air Kuning for a Peacock Bass fishing experience, during his business stay in Malaysia.......Without waiting long....... a 1 kilo size Toman came for his son's top water pencil bait........
Mr.Tamai may not look like it, but he is a very tough angler who can cast non-stop from morning untill everning even in this very hot and humid weather.......
Bravo!!! The catches from The Man of steel.......
Due to the blistering hot weather continue in this region of Air Kuning..... The Peacock Bass now are not at its most active........ But we still managed to land a size of about 48cm Peacock........
Don't forget to shoot more photos........
The catches was not promising the entire day........only landed 6 fish....
But for Mr.Tamai and his son, it was a good day and meaningful trip for them......they enjoyed themselves very much indeed..........

The Beast in The Zoo

A young Japanese friend Masabou had to go back to Japan due to his working permit expiring. But before he went back, he wanted to hunt for a super size Giant Snakehead to fulfill his dream........ So, after some discussion with the Zoo authority, he managed to conduct a small scale of 15 person for a half-day farewell fishing party at the National Zoo, where the monster Tomans are........ Early assembly and briefing before we started the fishing game..... This pond is meant for bird resting and feeding......... Occasionally the Zoo management do organize fishing competition once in a blue moon......... Well, this activity was not organized since a year or two ago......So, this is a good opportunity for 15 of us to hook up a monster here.........

Well, while I was doing fishing my wife and my little princess went for a walk to see the animals in the Zoo....... It's good to have two things done at the same time.....He He He!! Ooopps! Here comes the super size giant snakehead "Toman"........ Wow! Its really huge!!
And it weight 9.6kgs....... Wow. Look at the fat body........
Even the Temoleh Probarbus jullieni(Jullien´s Golden Carp) was caught on lure......Awesome!
Some catches from our friends.........
Our friend Mr.Fujii purposely came from Thailand to grace this event...... Wonderful catches!!
Trying to hook a monster..........
Some of my catches.......... But, no monster size for me.........sighhh.....
Patrick and his catches...... Hey! That is a sucker fish..... How did you hook it up with lure???The fish that we caught were to be transferred to an aquarium for public viewing purpose...... But before that, we need it to post for our group photo.............
Mr. Asahina from Singapore was the champion of the day...... the super size Toman that he is holding weighs 12.6kgs............ Wow! Huge!! Real monster !!Congratulations!!!

................ Party ends.................
