KL Look out point

Lately, my family and I went to a coolest place in KL. a Look Out Point at Ampang. This place is located about 10 km away from Ampang town on a slope along the winding road of the Pekan Batu 14-Ampang trunk road and sometimes it can be pretty cold up here at night. What a nice view of the city....We were able to see the beautiful night scene of whole Kuala Lumpur . Lok Si and mommy.....waiting for the dinner to be served.
The food they serve here are consider Ok.... and the price are reasonable too....It's only Rm15.80 for a mutton steak.....

Sebarau wonderland?

A friend of mine told me that he caught a lot of SEBARAU last week, and the place is not even more then 40minit drive from my house.....So, what to wait. Immediately me & Hoe go and have a look.....This place is actually at the back of Genting Klang, we started 5:50am early morning. After we parked our car at the kampong (village) and we have to trek through the forest for an hour to our destination.....Hoe went over heat after the walk.....We reached there just as dawn breaks...... Immediately we roll out into the lake.... From here you can see Genting Highland too.... What a nice place......Just around the corner of K.L.
After hours of trying....we only manage to caught some Sebarau babies...... So, we went into the river inlet to try our luck..... Nice place but no fish......Last week was good according to my friend.... Small one again....On the way back I found this at the Orang Asli (Native people) Village......A cute baby Armadillo
Hope the villagers will release it back to the forest......

Yesterday, me & my friend Dennis went to Air Kuning to look for a new area....Well, you know what, we found a wonderland....We reach there at 8:3oam and waited for our boatman to show up, and started 8:45am, at first we can't find the right spot until 10:30am....

only manage to get 2 small Haruan on Dog X pencil....
Still not found the big guy yet.....
Things happened when we decided to go to a deeper open area for a try.....Suddenly a big strike came to my minnow and my line came out unstoppably ......it happen so fast ,a nasty fight ensued for a while and a second later....hook off, my hook got straightened and the fish got loose......What??
Toman!!...( that was the first thing came across my mind.) So, immediately I change to a stronger saltwater hook and try again....BANG!! another strike again, just with first cast......Woaw! Ooooo! what a good fight...Oh no! Oh no! my rod at the maximum bending... Thinking what a huge Toman it was...........But when it turn out....to be a big Peacock Bass, Woaw, a real big one! Woaw! 54cm!! it been a while from last seen... Strike was non stop, average size was around 48cm to 50cm.... Again, another great size 54cm.... What a strong fish it was..... it straightened the stronger saltwater hook too.....Another...Another... Another....All was an easy catch, what a wonderland! This has some blue colour on the face.... Dennis also experiencing a wonderful catch with his fly rod....Great, another 54cm up.....Another one....Huge size. Close up shot....Our boatman Min and Zul....
