Peacock Bass (Cichla Temensis) in Asia

Cichla temensis is the largest member of the Peacock Bass genus.... Its violent behavior and it's awesome fighting power is the primary attraction that brings avid sport fisherman. This extraordinary top level predator is considered by many to be one of the most powerful freshwater gamefish in the world.... And it is now spreading quietly into the South East Asia region.... This was a trip to a place where it is full of this monster..... Way to to go for Ricky! Nice catch!!
Lee also caught himself a big Peacock Bass..... These genus used to be the biggest one found in native South America (Amazonia)..... However, these days it can also be found in South East Asia....
Nice!!....
Another one for Lee,.... Look at the size of this beauty of a monster.....
Hoe caught another type of a Cichla family,.... a black striped beauty, I wonder what is it name?!....
....... thank you.
My turn to see some action....
Yes, finally got myself a nice Peacock Bass with a soft lure.... though it was small in size but I felt satisfied anyway....
Happy Trip!!!
